Mark Ruiz specializes in Wills & Trusts, Probate, Trust Administration, Real Estate Law, and Business Law, and is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker, serving clients throughout the Bay Area and the Sacramento region. In 2025, he was voted Best Attorney in Carmichael by the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce and the Carmichael Times as part of the Best of Carmichael Awards.
He grew up in San Carlos and attended Woodside Priory School. Mark went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing from Santa Clara University and a Juris Doctor degree with a Business Law Certificate from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Over the years, he has worked with more than 1,500 individuals, families, and businesses on a wide range of legal matters.
Mark is an active member of the legal and civic community and speaks English, Spanish, and elementary Mandarin Chinese. He volunteered in the Probate Department of the San Mateo County Superior Court, assisting with probate matters, and worked with the Judicial Council of California to assist landlords in unlawful detainer (eviction) proceedings and settlement conferences. He also serves the community as an Attorney Fee Dispute Arbitrator with the Sacramento County Bar Association and as a Board Member of the Carmichael Improvement District.
In 2011, Mark founded the Law Offices of Mark Ruiz in Redwood City. Since then, the firm has expanded to include an office in the Sacramento region, reflecting his commitment to serving clients across Northern California.
In 2019, Mark and his family made Carmichael their home and enjoy the community's riverfront trails, the American River Parkway, and the historic Ancil Hoffman Golf Course, as well as weekend trips to Tahoe and the California coast.
